As part of its commitment to shorten to the time from discovery to early-stage clinical trials and ultimately to the patient CIBS relies on a number of academic-academic, academic-industry, and academic-non profit partnerships.
Critical-Path Institute: C-Path’s aim is to accelerate the pace and reduce the costs of medical product development through the creation of new data standards, measurement standards, and methods standards that aid in the scientific evaluation of the efficacy and safety of new therapies. CIBS and C-Path have a long-running partnership to develop precision clinical trial designs based on validated biomarkers.
Alzheimer's Association-Desert Southwest Chapter: The DSW chapter of the Alzheimer's Association provides education and support to all those facing Alzheimer’s and other dementias throughout our community, including those living with the disease, caregivers, health care professionals, and families. Since 2018, CIBS and DSW have embarked on a cooperative partnership, via our AZ-TRADD training program to allow our students to gain direct experience working with Alzheimer's patients and their caregivers.
