CIBS is an all brains on deck research environment designed for integrated collaborative research through innovative team science. The CIBS team has expertise spanning discovery, translational, regulatory and clinical science.
Together, we are able to integrate our expertise to address complex issues with state-of-the-art technologies to conduct real science that really matters. CIBS investigators bring expertise in Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis and ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), aging, bioenergetics of the brain, immunology, stem cell biology, big data computational systems biology and machine learning, animal models of neurodegenerative disease, drug design and synthesis, FDA regulatory and toxicology requirements and clinical trial design and conduct.
CIBS research is shifting the research paradigm with our patient inspired and data driven approach. By making human biology the starting point of our research and therapeutic development, we are creating precision medicine committed to generating cures for those who need a cure today.
